The deposit reserves your event date and time. If you do not send deposit within the allotted time frame, you forfeit your proposed date and time and another client will be allowed to reserve said date and time.

Any additional services/products requested by the client incurred by the Event Planner will be billed directly to client at cost. All services contracted cannot be deducted, but additional services can be added.

Late/No Show Policy

The event time starts at the time client has booked the event to start, and it will end exactly at the time allotted to client. If client arrives late, their start time will not be delayed and will continue as scheduled. If client is more than 30 minutes late, it will be at our discretion on whether the event will be canceled or allow the client more time to arrive. Please note that we do stay on site until the client arrives as is professional and to ensure location is secure and set up as requested. Please note, also, we are normally booked for more than one event or picnic a day, so it is very important to make sure you are on time.

Cancellation Policy

If event is canceled for personal unforeseen circumstances, no portion of the payment/retainer/deposit paid to the Event Planner will be returned; transfers will be allowed at our discretion. If cancelling an event with a 48 hour notice and final payment has been made, we will allow for a reschedule given your future date is available for booking. If cancelling with less than a 48 hour notice, rescheduling will be allowed at our discretion. If the event is postponed, services contracted can be applied to a new date if available (refer to Postponement Policy).

Postponement Policy

If event is postponed (with a 48 hour notice), all services will cease at time of notification of postponement if no determined new date is provided. Payment schedule will be determined and readjusted post new event date notification. If client requires services to resume, post new event date being established, second payment will be required at time of service re-start.

Responsibility

The Event Planner is not responsible for Acts Of God, Natural Disasters, an Act Of Government such as A Declaration of National or Local Emergency, or Other Incidents Not within the control of the Event Planner, i.e. accident, death in the family, illness, pregnancy, or sudden tragic circumstance. If such a situation is on the Event Planner's end, upon approval of the client, the Event Planner will provide a qualified professional replacement to fulfill Event Planner's obligations under the contract or reschedule, at no additional charge to the client.

Inclement Weather

Due to unforeseen weather changes, clients are allowed to move their picnic date ONCE, if inclement weather occurs on the event date. Client has three weeks from date of cancellation to choose a new event date and time. It is the CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITY to reach out and reschedule. Failure to reschedule within the three weeks of cancellation results in a forfeit of your deposit and a new deposit will be required if client wants to book another date. You can also choose to provide a backup location indoors in place of rescheduling. We ask that this be provided to us during your consultation or no later than a week before your event.

Leaving Early

If client would like to leave the booked event early, please call or text the Event Planner 30 minutes ahead of your new departure time. You are fully responsible for all inventory until Event Planner or staff member has arrived. Please DO NOT, under any circumstance, leave before someone is there to collect the inventory.
